One thing I could suggest is having a bath every night. Light a few candles, take in a magazine and make sure that everyone knows that this is Tara's half hour to be LEFT ALONE. Do it when the kids are in bed and hubby knows to leave you alone. Just relax and chill out. Sometimes you just have to say "right! It's ME-TIME! The rest of you can sod off!". Stuff like that.

You might find it is just what you need.

To show how little me time i have heres an example

i cant even take a too too without #1 the baby banging on the door and crying to get it

#2 my daughter outside the bathroom door "mommy i need to talk to you, pllsssssss mommy cmon i havent seen you all day, OMG YOU SO HATE ME DONT YOU"

#3 my husband " Tara wheres this, tara the pc crashed again (and it didnt), Tara i need help. Tara can i come in? (no i dont know why LOL), and so on

i may have to do this bath thing at my neighbors, bc even when i put the kids to bed, they are not really in bed LMAO

I took a 2 hour nap the other day on the couch, and it was the end of the world for my hubby and daughter. i need to cut their cords somehow lol

Well when it's my weekend to have the kids I spend my free time driving them to birthday parties, field hockey games, the mall, the movies, etc. Basically I'm a taxi service in disguise.

When it's my free weekend, I pretty much do anything that is self indulgent as well since by that time I crave being pampered. I watch movies, I go shopping, I search around for good recipes and then I try them out when no one can complain if it came out bad. When the weather is nice I love to hang out at the beach and read a good book on the weekends. I also love going to concerts but that's kind of hard to do alone so it'll have to wait till hubby gets here.

- belong to an all-girlie book club...we read "chick books"...hehehe

- travelling or planning travel...we've always either got a trip already planned and booked or are planning one.

- hubster and I belong to an ethnic dining group (we go to an off-the-beaten-path ethnic restaurant once a month....last month Senagalese, this month Peruvian, next month Moroccan)

- I like a bit of reality TV (Dancing with the Stars, Top Chef, America's Next Top Model & Project Runway)

- also belong to a group of ladies that goes out for proper afternoon tea once a month to various fancy hotels or restaurants. We get the whole shebang...tea, tea sandwiches, scones... it's fab!

- VJ and Facebook

- beadwork that I sell

other than that, just going out with friends, having friends over...it's all good!

OMG...how did I forget SHOPPING??????????? Clothes, accessories and cosmetics make up what I enjoy shopping for the most.
