I set up an Ebay account, but I need to know, does it really ask for credit card info to set it up?

I have used ebay and Amazon both with good results. I also buy from abebooks.com a lot and like them, but I don't know where they ship to.

When I first opened my paypal account to purchase on ebay, the only thing I needed was my checking account information. I've never had a problem with it. I've successfully bopught many used books on ebay and have been satisfied every time. And with ebay, the good thing is, if a seller has huge shipping fees, then don't buy from them. Keep looking, there are always very fair sellers who aren't looking to gouge you with exorbitant shipping fees.

I used to buy used books at great prices when I was in college. I've bought a camera on the site as well.

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

Thanks for the tip everyone. I am checking ebay although most shipping to Puerto Rico is rather expensive, and am also checking Amazon, even from Brazil I used to order books from them. I like their service and prices quite a bit.
