Its really clever, there seem to also be some key frames that kind of mess with your sense of depth.

I have always been able to do those 3D pictures where after staring at it, another picture will pop out. Does it work like that?

I think so...at least that's what Dan says. Our brain fills in a lot of information that really isn't there. I think tests like these prove that we don't always see what is there...a lot of it is imagined by our creative brains.

Well, this is odd. I didn't see any movement!

If I look directly at the image, I only see it going clockwise. However, if I focus on the edge of my monitor and look at it through peripheral vision, it goes counter clockwise. The moment I look at it directly, it goes clockwise.

It's clockwise for me and it took a long time before i could see her move counter clockwise. It only worked when i focused on the foot that she keeps on the ground.

Why did they have to give this figure such a nice rack, it was hard to focus on not focusing so I get her to spin either way--which I was able to control by closing one eye and then reversing which eye that is closed and opened.

Left eye open, right eye closed she spins: clockwise

Both eyes open she spins: mostly counter-clockwise, but randomly clockwise.

Right eye open, left eye closed she spins: counter-clockwise.
