Well, Wes finally has the job offer he has been waiting for. He applied in February for a position in a call center, which is not his american dream career, but it is what he did in the UK. In other words, get yourself established.

They called last night and offered him the job beginning June 5!

So we are happy but as usual with us, it's gonna be a challenge. The office he will be working at is moving to a location about 25 miles from our house - a good 45 minute drive. We have one car and this job will probably involve some late hours. Mama (me) can't shuttle him about.

So guess what....we need to find another car. Not something our budget was ready for. Plus he will have to re-learn to drive - NOW.

But my budget is definately ready for my man to have health insurance. And he will have it after 60 days.

So this is how my face looks now....

That's great news, congrats! But how will your boss and his family feel about his leaving the store? I presume they won't mind?

I know what you mean about the insurance. My being added to my husband's insurance costs us an extra $200 a month and that money sure would come in handy!!

Please check my profile for timeline info. :)

How will they feel about him leaving the store? My boss RECOMMENDED he take this new job. He knew this was only triage. As far as the rest of them, I couldn't a lot care. It seems that Wes' register has been out a few times and they are just NOW pointing this out to him. So Junior is going to take him aside starting tomorrow and spend a bit more time with him. Nothing like letting bad habits set in...

We have had NO insurance so this will be a godsend. It will probably cost about $40 a month for him. I'll go without a while longer. I'm healthy. And please - I know I should be covered - but right now it's more important for him.
