I search using "134" or "864" for discussions on Affidavit of Support and nothing is returned; I guess because they are numbers not letters as searching for "#######" sure seems to work just fine ... :)

Can you only search using letters and not using numbers?

I did it for both and got at least 100 hits for each... I also did I-134 and I-864 and it worked equally as well

YMMV

The main google powered search tool works pretty well so I would try there for these types of things :).

Here is a print screen showing nothing returned from the Forum Search when using 134.

For you guys that got replies did you use the Forum Search or the Google Search?

Thanks!

I got the same result as Cantankerous. In other words nothing when I used Forums Search and advanced Forum Search and simply put in the digits 134. I even tried putting it in quotes and the results were the same. Both times it returned the screen similar to what he shows.

However, if I put 134 into the Google Custom Search box (blue banner, beneath tabs) I get LOTs of responses.

You need more than 3 characters when searching in the forums search. The google search has no such limit. Google search also covers the whole site. :)

It doesn't matter to me if it get fixed or not, but just so's you know......

When I put in I-134 or I-864 (5 characters each) it exhibits the same behaviour (nothing returned). But, as Marilyn says, if you put in 134* or 864* you get a whole BOATLOAD of responses.

Just seems odd to me, but I'm greatful that the forums exist at all. Thanks Captain.
