Everybody needs to stop spoon-feeding this poster.

We obviously don't have the full story. If his woman is here based on a marriage that went belly up, simply marrying another American and hoping to successfully adjust her status isn't going to pan out.

shes not here because of a previous marriage.

she left after getting divorced and has come back and met me a few years later.

here on a tourist visa

man you need to talk to your fiancee and find out her history. If you cant read the guides and get some understanding of the entire process, it is not going to do you any good asking new questions without answering the ones that were posed to you previously.

You are not smart enough to do this process on your own, and you lack familiarity with the basics of the process.

SEE AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER!!!

If she has even a conditional green card, she would not need a visitors visa to get into the USA (oh and by the way it is her green card not her ex's, he cant send it back). If however she did not get a replacement or change from conditional green card to unconditional and let it just expire then its more complicated.

I agree with others you need to determine what her status really is,if her green card it still valid you can just marry and apply for a unconditional green card. If it has expired talk to a immigration lawyer about your options, and make sure you have the divorce decree

This is really a touchy subject. Can ANYONE be a sponsor? Does there have to be a connection, of any sort, between the petitioner and a co-sponsor? If not, and both parties are willing to keep it completely between themselves, who would find out? I am NOT suggesting this, mind you. Just trying to be the devil's advocate.

If someone I didn't know asked me to sign a legally binding paper sayign that I would support someone (that I don't even know)... well I would probably just laugh. How would I know that these people wouldn't turn on me or try to get money from me? I don't know if there is anythign protecting a sponsor but since they're signing something saying they will financially sponsor someone that seems pretty sketchy to me to sign it not knowing what the future might hold.

The whole thing seems too complicated to me!

she has a conditional thing right now that will expire in a month or 2

from the previous marriage they divorced before she had an interview and got permanent residence.

Is this a credible sponsor?

currently self employed for the past year with online businesses.

the year or 2 before that was in the navy

and about 2 years before that worked as a baggage person at a nice hotel

before that had other jobs..

i do know this person i just recently thought about him and realized hes the best chance i have for a sponsor

I think you should just get legal advice before you do anything .

Good luck with it

The journey is over we are divorced now.

there are alternitives to tax records. bank accounts, letters from employers. things like that. unless you have been avoiding paying taxes you can request from the irs free of charge any transcrips you might have with them. legal ? yes i think it is legal but unwise. there will be many questions raised in the future.

people were saying to marry her since she is still in the states right now for another month.

do they mean without the I-134, Affidavit of Support ?

will this do any good? why were they saying to do this

You either aren't paying attention or just don't have the aptitude or willingness or both to understand and use the counsel you've been given. I'm washing my hands of this until you've posted something that indicates you've read the guides. I see you asked about how to do that. The really easy way is to push "reply" right now and look an inch above the window you would type your reply in. There you'll see the words,

Please consider reading the FAQ's and Guides before posting.

Click on the word FAQ's or the word Guides and start studying.

Your questions are so disconnected, you really need to get a better picture of the overall process. As somebody else said earlier. Spoon feeding you isn't accomplishing anything.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
Understanding the big picture is priceless. Anonymous

I would not pay someone to do process your Visa. This cant be legal and if you get caight then there will never be a second chance for you to do it. If you do this then make sure you dont tell them, the problem is you need photos to show they have met before
