It sucks that after each hurtle you jump, you are forced to wait again. You would think the stress level

would decrease after getting your NOA2 but unfortunately that does not seem to happen. Each step brings

another period of wait and uncertainty. I will be so glad with this part of the journey is over.

Hang in there u2rsobad. I am sure NVC has your file. Good luck!

I agree and can vouch for that as I thought after getting our case to NVC things will move quicker. That's not the case, as I found out for some reason it takes HCM Conculate 2-3 weeks to receive it. There's always some kind of delays at every stage with our case. :crying:

Thanks Alane. I'm trying to keep my cool, and outwardly I am (I have to here at work), but on the inside..I'm worried/upset/sad/the list goes on. I know it has to be there, and I'm truly happy for those who have gotten in and out of there so fast. But the person I spoke to this morning said nothing can be done until after 90 days and said that maybe CSC misplaced it, etc. ..hence the worry.

Any way, thanks for the support. I'd go nuts without my friends here on vj.

Well, I finally got through to NVC after trying for 5 hours..still no record of receiving my case! :crying::crying: I called late last night and then kept trying today for better news, but no. I called CSC again this morning and they assured me it was sent out on the 6th. I told this to the lady at NVC when I finally got through, that tomorrow is 4 weeks from receiving my NOA2 and that people approved up to 3 weeks later than I, already have their NVC case numbers. She just said sorry, we have no record of your case. :(

Thanks, I just needed to vent with friends who understand my frustrations!:crying:

I'm sorry to hear that yours still isn't there yet. We were approved on October 29, and everytime I have called CSC, they have told me that there is no way to know when a case has been sent to NVC! So I have no idea how you and some others have been able to find that out. Please let me know if there is anything in particular.

They are not being honest with you. I called twice and was given a date both times. Many other people have called and have also been given a shipping date. Good luck if you call again.

I just called again today, and the operator told me that there is no way to tell when it has been sent. She said that it can take up to 60 days for it to arrive at NVC, and if it goes past that, then they can bring it to their attention!! AAAAHHHH!!! Thanks a bunch. Amazingly enough, I got through to the NVC this evening and was told that it could take up to 90 days to get there! They are really making this ridiculous, aren't they!? It's only been 18 days since my approval, so I'm not worried, just curious as to where I can find out if it has been sent, hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

There is a time for everything....all in God's time.

What is that in front of me? I think I can see some light at the end of the tunnel. It's about time I am beginning to wake up from this nightmare. I know I am not done yet but what a long, strange trip it has been.

Does anyone know how you can find out when your petition gets to the embassy?

Good luck everybody!

Congrats afterforever! Annother step out of the way. Do you know if Thai embassy sends out packet 3+4 combined? I would think that's the only way you would get an interview date quickly. I hope so and good luck!

Hi afterforever - congrats on having your petition on it's way to the embassy! It seems to take anywhere from 3-8 days for most petitions to reach the embassy. Look online for the embassy's website and there you can find their phone number. I called the embassy in Bucharest two days in a row, and on the second day they told me they received it. I also asked if my fiance could pick up Packet 3 instead of having it mailed, and they were able to do that for us. He went in that same day and picked it up. At this point, anything to speed up this horrible long process!

Good luck to you! Keep us posted!
