Hi..

We paid the AOS fee bill and sent the DS-3032 last month.. the automated recording says our IV bill was generated on 3rd of September and it will be sent to the agent in the next few weeks..

My hubby in the States has still not received anything :-(

It's been 22 days now.. is anyone at this stage and expereincing the same delay?

And although we have paid the AOS fee bill, we are yet to receive form I-864 (Affidavit of support). Does anyone know if we can expect this form to be mailed with the IV bill?

Thanks :-)

22 days is kindof longer than usual.

Did you guys called NVC to ask if it has been sent out?

From looking at other people timeline I think the NVC send I- 864 and IV bill seperately.

In my case the IV bill was generated on 17th of september and I was expecting to get this weekend.

But, now I am not sure when I will get it.

seattleguy is correct, the I-864 and IV fee bill are sent out separately, in fact nothing at NVC is mailed out with anything else.

It took me 17 days to receive the IV fee bill - mailed to Canada.

It does seem to be a bit long, on the other hand I had a checklist sent to me from NVC a few weeks ago. They said they mailed it August 20th and the form was dated August 20th - but the postmark on the actual envelope was September 4th.

Hard to say, they may be behind with mailings.

I would go ahead and give them a call - they might offer to mail another one.

It took a long time for my IV bill to reach me (the USC)-almost a month. It sat at the NVC for nearly 2 weeks before it was sent out. Knowing that I had to wait for it, because of that funky extra data at the end of our case number, was more frustrating. Maybe I'll crack the IV bill code in my spare time.

If you feel that your mail isn't getting to you, then call the NVC and ask them to resend you the IV bill.

You don't need to wait for the AOS instruction packet to send out your I-864. I sent it via USPS, priority mail with delivery confirmation. Since it is on a separate "track", don't expect them to come together.

One word of note, use USPS to send your IV bill, with delivery confirmation, as they do deliver to PO Boxes.
