2 year requirement

I have met my fiance in April 2006 and have filed the i-129f in July 2007(a little more than 1 year). My question is when they say 2 years, does it mean it has to be atleast 2 years since I met her or does it mean that we must have met anytime within the past two years?

Has anyone been approved that have met less than 2 years?

It just means you must have met in person within the past 2 years of filing the petition. At least, that's my understanding!

The requirement is that it has been less than 2 years since you last met face to face.

You don't have to have known them for 2 years but you have to have met face to face at least once within the last two years.

We met for the first time in July 2006, and filed the I-129F the end of July 2006.

What the form actually says is :You and your fiancé(e) intend to marry within 90 days of your fiancé(e) entering the United States, and are both free to marry, and have met in person within two years before your filing of this petition....

You have to meet your fiancée in person Within two years, not at least for two years. I met my fiancée on March 2007, and filed I-129F on Sept 2007.
