Geico, I pray for you as well. Try the RFE trick and speak very politley with the officer. I spoke very politely expressed the difficulty I am facing. Most likely, your case has been assigned and an officer is looking at it.

Hey Geico i feel your pain and i called with the RFE trick this morning and i talked to this very nice lady and she told me my file is on one of the officers desk and its being looked at and she said i should recieve a decision with in the next couple of weeks. You should call them too and see where your file is at. Hope we get our approvals soon.

Do any of you guys think I should call USCIS Cali Service center? It has been exactly 24 weeks today since the I-130 was received. My lawyer thinks I should leave it alone but, I keep thinking I should call.

It will not hurt if that's what you are worried about. At best you might get some useful information, at worst they'll just tell you to wait and call later.

Hello august fellows, why USCIS stopped to approve August Filers. I saw several september filers being approved yesterday. I congratulated them too, but what is going on with ours? I hope in God we can hear more approvals of August.

Try to call USCIS using the RFE trick. That is what I did and got an approval email the same day.

I am not sure if the reason for the approval was the phone call I made.

All I did was asked is if I was going to get a result soon.

The RFE Trick: 1-800-375-5283 then

Press 1, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1, your case number, 1, 1. and wait for a few seconds and it will tell you that someone will be with you shortly and if they are busy it will tell you how long you have to wait. I hope this helps because it helped me.

we got approved!!!!!!!! we had our application touched yesterday so i thought that was a good sign and when i checked my email last night, i got the email we've been waiting for for 6 months!!!! i want to run through the streets and scream and shout! hope the process moves faster from here on out!
