GREAT NEWS!!!!

I just checked the USCIS website again at 11:33 PM and it says that we are APPROVED!!!!

It’s great!!!!!

I had checked the website earlier today (around 1:00 PM) and there was no change from June 11th NOA-1 date.

When I checked at 7:37 PM tonight the website had been touched but still said June 11th for an NOA-1.

When I checked again at 11:33 PM it said approved and that an email had been sent stating this. I checked and the email was there.

It looks like they are working overtime to get everyone back on track. I hope that others get their approval soon because everyone has waited a long time.

Now it is on to NVC.

Good luck everyone!

My priority date shown on my NOA-2 is April 25, 2007. The date for my NOA-1 is May 21, 2007. I think they go more based on the priority date than on the day either CSC or VSC acknowledges receipt of the application. I got approved right around the time I expected to be approved {90 -120 days of waiting}, not as a 'freak' approval as you say.

How do you know if you have been touched? What exactly does this mean and how can I find out?

Thanks!!

Congratulations dbzman!! Excellent news!

Its interesting to see that there have been two approvals this week with emails coming after 11 pm. I never checked later than 7 or so (thinking that the Service center would be closed at that time - locally for us). Maybe I just need to check more often. So far today - NOTHING.

We are so close in timelines to you though - my hopes are up a little. I hope we see many more approvals soon!

jodinjames - a 'touch' refers to the 'last updated date' when you register at uscis.gov to check your case status online. It doesnt necessarily mean anything other than that you file was 'touched'. It could have been worked on - or it could have just been moved. Nobody knows for sure. Some people never have touches while others have several before seeing anything happen to their case.

I know the CSC works until 11pm PST, which is awesome. Some of them are from the agency and some are real workers for the company (gov't). Probably, the gov't workers stay there until midnight PST.

HANG ON THERE... IT'S GONNA BE A RIDE OF A LIFETIME OF APPROVALS =)

It is great to hear that they are approving petitions.

Congrats to everyone that has been approved in these couple of days.

Clow - Thank you for that bit of information. I was unaware that they worked that late. You'd think with those hours though we would be seeing a lot more than what we are from them. Oh well... tomorrow is another day.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

We have similar dates to yours and received our approval in the post yesterday! It was dated 15th October. So yours should be anyday now.

Good luck - and don't check the online info too often it will make you crazy....25 times a day is more than enough!!

Emma

Married 16th April 2007 - Seattle :)

17th April completing military paperwork (Honeymoon?)

Emma flew back to UK 18th April 2007 :(

Change of name documents arrived for Emma and children

Fedex Em's paper work for I-130 to E in US - 10/05/07
