Any May or June Filers Approved?

Just wondering if there were any May 30 - June 14, 2007 Filers out there that have gotten approved yet.

or

Any filers in the month of May that have been approved.

I might do an RFE trick soon!

I also filed on May 30, 2007. I have not gotten my second notice yet. No approval ether. Lets stay in touch about getting approvals? Wish you the best, God bless.

OUr NOA1 is dated June 8 - and we have also heard NOTHING. I know there has been atleast one approval from May 21 (a few weeks ago) - but most are still coming in from april, so that may have been a 'freak' approval. I know she did the RFE trick after a couple of days of touches to find out she was approved.

we filed May 30 and we got our I-130 approved on August 22 and got approval letter in mail on August 24.

Please look at my timeline if you want to be sure..lol

i hope u get approved soon because even after approval, there are many steps and process and waiting time...

I miss my hubby!!

I just want to clarify - after reading a couple of other posts - should I go by the 'received date' on our NOA1 which is May 23, or the 'notice date' which was when the NOA was printed, June 8? I have been using the date of June 8, until reading that the way that USCIS actually prioritizes our petitions are by the 'received date'. Unsure of which one to use now.

Any thoughts on this?

My priority date shown on my NOA-2 is April 25, 2007. The date for my NOA-1 is May 21, 2007. I think they go more based on the priority date than on the day either CSC or VSC acknowledges receipt of the application. I got approved right around the time I expected to be approved {90 -120 days of waiting}, not as a 'freak' approval as you say.

Eresh - I realized that after reading through a thread started by captain ewok in which there was quite a bit of discussion on which date was actually the prioritized date and how VJ gets to our 'estimated approval dates' - the received date - or the NOA1 date?? On your case - the I130 approval thread on this forum has your date listed at May 21 - which is why I assumed you were a may filer not really seeing your timeline at that point - and there were still a few april filers before you that had not heard anything. Sorry about the confusion.

Which is why I asked what date should we be going by??

I'm also a may filer. I should hope and pray we are next on the approval list for the I-130. Best of wish's and I will pray for MAY.

Yiiippppeeee!!!! My case got approved on 18th Sep. :dance: I just can't believe it, I am so happy.... I hope the other may fillers approvals start coming soon. Thanks a lot to all VJers who have been of gr8 help. I still need your help coz now the NVC game starts. All the best guys !!!

Congrats ZE....that gives me some hope, i am right around the corner as your case, just 2 days after you sent yours ...same country , same service center...although no touch yet , oh well hope sustains life, lets hope this week or next week something should be happen, atleast someone in USCIS is looking into the may - june cases.

Looks like you are seeing the page where it says received your petition on so and so date blah blah blah. You need to create an account and then see the last updated column that is the place where you will come to know the updated date. I am sure yours will be right around the corner.

Actually i do have an account and the last updated date still shows as june 8th i believe that is the date i opened my account or they filed it ..nothing yet ...which makes me think since my packet was sent on may 17th and if USCIS is processing around may15th, it shouldnt be far....lets hope, also i dont know if USCIS sees cases as simple or complicated, i would consider mine as quiet simple , first time getting married and spouse is also from the same country as i am..lets hope, the whole process is so frustrating ...cant believe 9-12months for the whole process to get your wife here ....with unpredictable dates cant even plan anything ...

The process is definitely frustrating.... There is just a couple of days difference between my petition and yours so god willing your approval might be there in a week or so.
