You will have to send it to Texas, and if CSC are processing the form you sent, they will then transfer it to CSC!!

I believe as of April 1 that California and Vermont are the only two processing I-129 applications. You need to check the USCIS website to verify current instructions. They are suppose to have created updated forms with new instructions. In the past the answer would have been to submit to TSC and they would forward it to CSC. Good luck!

It seems that the K-1 petitions are being transferred to CSC for processing. Strange

Take a look at this link for USCIS posted information on processing changes

http://uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/ne...1_24Mar06PR.pdf

This article states to send all I-129s to Vermont processing center.

That link mentions EMPLOYERS and the I 129. The one we send as K1 applicants is the I 129 F.

I guess it is misleading for us here to always call it the I 129.

Thanks for the information, I was not sure how their changes would affect k1 apps.

It is a valid concern, but the processing of I-129F's remain the same, and you must send it to the appropriate Service Center for your state of residence, regardless of which Service Center may actually do the processing.

Good luck!

are they trying to make the two slowest centres catch up now with the two fastest handling all i-129s (ya i know not 1-129fs) and i-140s? even things out. Sounds to me like this might slow down Vermont and/or Nebraska for other processing including i-129f. just my two cents.

Yup, gotta send it to TSC (if thats the office that presides over your area). Ours was also forwarded from TSC to CSC and I get all the correspondence from CSC. It does take it a little while to get bounced around, though. Ours took only 1 day to get to the TSC and was marked as received on 3-22, but didnt get received by CSC until 3-28 and that's the receipt date that our case number got tagged with. Kind of annoying, but I guess it's better than the petitions sitting in stacks in Texas when they dont have time to process them.
