I tell my wife she doesn't need to bother with makeup b/c she's the prettiest gal EVER! She says she puts it on for me and that makes her feel better about herself(doing something for me, not the makeup).

Worse than that...I went to school one day (running late) sans makeup. I keep a small stash at school 'just in case'. Before I could get to my room and unlock the friggin door, one of my kids (on his way to breakfast) asked if I was sick. I said no, why. "Well, you're so pale and...." He must have seen the look of horror on my face as he sped off to get his breakfast.

For the most part though...no makeup for me. My adorable husband says it doesn't matter to him if I'm all gussied up or not. My kinda man.

You know that television personalities wear a ton of make-up, especially the men. I was shocked when I saw Merv Griffon without his make-up. Granted, he was gay, but I don't think you'll find anyone on the News who isn't wearing makeup.

Part of the reason for that is to counteract the effect of television lighting, which can be rather negative without make-up.

Lai doesn't wear make-up, other than occassional nail-polish, and I do prefer that; I'd much rather see her own natural beauty. I don't really care for the "painted" look; I think that if make-up is used, it should simply highlight nature, without drawing attention to the make-up itself.

I don't really like putting on make-up I do it on occasion when I feel like it

I like make up but I don't wear loads of it. I just take 5 mins or less to throw some powder and eye shadow on, with lip gloss or burts bees and occasional eye liner. If it's a fancy occasion then I put more make up.

Sujeet likes me without make up on, he likes the natural face better. But still I wear make up when I want. I do go out often without make up or with just powder. I didn't want to be someone who looks different to friends when I'm not wearing make up as opposed to wearing it. Some people look very different.
