I know it still early for me to start freaking out about getting the NOA2. But my heart falls into pieces every time I check USCIS for case status and see that same old "case received and pending" message, and that long time ago touch from 8/28/2007.... :clock:

I called VSC this morning to update some information for our case and try and get some info from them on where they are in the processing. Girl was polite but couldn't give any specific details....oh well no worries I say, this month we will all get the good news :thumbs:

09/22/2008: NOAs for I-485/I-131 (dated 09/17) but I-765 was rejected due to outdated form (Rev 4/08/2008)

09/24/2008: Mailed I-765 (rev 05/27/2008) again

09/28/2008: I-765 was delivered

10/03/2008: I-485 transferred to CALIFORNIA

10/06/2008: NOA for I-765

10/10/2008: biometrics

12/01/2008: AP approved

12/05/2008: EAD ordered

02/19/2009: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Seems slow for a military expedite. Those things tend to zip through pretty fast.

In any case, congratulations!!!

Ahhhh....you're right. He's an Army helicopter pilot. It's in his story in his personal profile. (sorry for talking about you like you're not here Mark. :) ) Well awesome, happy to see that!

That is quite alright. I did include that in the profile section for that reason. I had filed the application under normal circumstances, then, the deployment orders arrived. After that, I faxed a copy to DHS on 3 DEC and got an "Expedite Approval" / "Application Approval" on 4 DEC. NOA2 hard copy arrived 7 DEC. Not too sure if the Military Expedite continues to the Embassy in Manila. After NVC forwards the packet there, I will call to find out. All of a sudden, my clock is ticking and time is of the essence! Any other "Military" filers here? And thank everyone for the congrats...just a heck of a way for Donna to start a new life here in the States, but, it is well worth any and everything we go through.
