Hello everyone,

I just want to share the good news we heard today. My I-212 waiver has been approved! We want to thank Atty. Laurel Scott for helping us with everything. Thank you to everybody here on Visa Journey as well. This is just the start of our real journey, and we sure will continue to post our updates here.

Mar. 19 - 1st Interview (AP)

Mar. 23 - 2nd Interview (AP)

Aug. 27 - K-1 Visa Received

Aug. 27 - Entered US

Adjustment of Status

Oct. 08 - USCIS Received Date

Oct. 25 - I-765 NOA1 (received in mail on 10/31)

Oct. 25 - I-485 NOA1 (received in mail on 11/02)

Oct. 31 - Notice Date for ASC Appointment on 11/24 (received in mail on 11/05)

Nov. 07 - Biometrics for I-485 and I-765 taken

Dec. 06 - I-765 Card production ordered

Dec. 14 - I-765 Approval Notice sent

Dec. 15 - I- 485 transferred to CSC

Dec. 17 - Received EAD in mail

Dec. 24 - Transfer Notice received in mail

May 22 - Welcome Letter sent

May 28 - I - 485 Approval Notice sent

cd1111, did you end up having an interview in PR (I think that was where it was?) Are you now back on track with your K1? Congrats!

Nope, still in Belize. I didn't have another interview as I was only put on AP while waiting for my waiver. My waiver had to go through Guatemala which has the jurisdiction over Belize. There has just been a delay in processing my visa because of the hurricane. Hopefully, we can fly back to the US by early next week. Thanks. :)

07/22/2011 - Check for $420 cashed.

08/04/2011 - Touched.

02/03/2012 - Received I-130 approval notification via text and email. Website updated as well.

02/08/2012 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

02/17/2012 - NVC generated case #.

02/17/2012 - DS-3032 and AOS bill generated.

02/22/2012 - AOS fee bill paid online.

02/23/2012 - DS-3032 emailed.

02/23/2012 - AOS fee bill cleared, IVR updated.

02/24/2012 - Received 'We have received your DS-3032 email from NVC.'

02/25/2012 - AOS Packet mailed.

02/27/2012 - IV Fee Bill generated.

02/28/2012 - 'Item missing in AOS Packet'. NVC mails out letter.

03/01/2012 - IV Fee Bill Paid (Status 'IN PROCESS')

Wow that's great. So that interview notice in PR (or was it Guatemala then) was nothing? Hope you get back soon!

USCIS just made a mistake (as usual), but really my waiver had to go through Guatemala, not PR, and no interview.
