We broke the laws of england to become our own country. We broke the laws of segregation to bring equal rights to all. Are you saying that should have never happened. Because its always wrong to break the law?

or, oooh, wait for it...

USCs can work withIN the law to change it!!!!!

but it seems that its by far not what the majority of USCs really want... citizens from another country (or countries) dont really have any business demanding changes in the laws of this country... and again, i believe this is reciprocal... i dont think that the US has the right to demand changes to the laws of other countries

A colony freeing itself and citizens fighting for equal rights are arguably miles away from aliens demanding to be granted a precious privilege they're not entitled to. The apologists are just masters at seeing apples for oranges.

Are you prepared to advocate the release of all convicted ID thieves from prison? Care to offer up your ID for misuse by someone else? Yeah, I didn't think so. Talk is so cheap.

Its also not criminal not to pay your mortgage by the way. But you did sign a contract with them, using your house as collateral.

Only hindsight can tell you that the people did the right thing. Many people were opposed the changes during the period.

So, that's a yes to my second question? Go ahead, let's see it.

so in short, regarding the op, this fits quite well.

Your values are so screwed up man, your hard to take seriously. You don't see the difference between USC using "civil disobedience" and alien nationals, here illegally, breaking our laws. We have the right to want our laws to change if we find them unjust because we belong here. They do not. They have no rights to our political system at all but you are ready to grant them full rights of a USC.

You can call it what you want. But without opposition to your views we don't really have democracy now do we? Just as you, I have the right to think what I want to think. I have the right to protest actions or laws that I feel are unjust even if you don't agree with it.

If a law banning the ownership of guns was passed, how many of you would own a gun in spite of the law? How many of you would be out protesting it?

I'm not expecting you to agree with me, and I know many of you won't. But I will continue to exercise my rights as long as we remain a democracy.

You can tell me to shut up, try to marginalize me, label me, or call me names, but I still have the right to say what I say. (And I can do the same things to you :P)

Bye,

Sounds like she is back home already.

There you go, you swerved into the truth without even realizing it. You do have the right to protest laws you don't like. And even if I disagree with what you are protesting I will stick up for that right. But the illegals do not have that right in this country. That is the point in a nutshell.

But they do have supporters who are citizens, so as much as you like it to, this issue isn't going away.

i do hope you're not going to be too upset when you realize you're in a minority.
