MONROE COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - FOX10 Investigates has confirmed a judicial assistant and a court security guard are among the suspects arrested for voter fraud in Monroe County.

According to Monroe County Probate Judge Sonya Stinson, 46-year-old Samantha Kyles is a judicial assistant for Judge Donna Silcox, and 59-year-old Sarah Bennett was a security guard at the Monroe County courthouse. Bennett’s last day on the job was March 4.

We have reached out to Judge Silcox to ask about Kyles employment status, but have not heard back.

The Monroe County probate court told FOX10 News Kyles previously worked for the probate court and left the position in 2019.

It’s unclear if Kyles and Bennett used their positions to carry out the cheating allegations in the Frisco City municipal election last August.

Along with Kyles and Bennett, 67-year-old Sharon Denson was also indicted for voter fraud.

According to court documents, all three women filled out a total of 20 illegal absentee ballots.
