you will owe  this when filing 2025 taxes or is owed from previous years?

 

you need to know IRS interest and failure to pay penalty as you will owe more than the $6000 in taxes

check the following IRS site that outlines how this is figured 

you must have a payment plan at time of interview and the CO still does have the right to decide the outcome

I currently owe 1,000 and likely to owe 4-5k on the current tax return but I have payment plan on the current one that I'm owing
