Hi guys,

My interview is scheduled for this Tuesday.

However, I cannot locate my original marriage certificate.

I was sure I had it organized in my prepared file, but I only have the original copy that is not a legal document.

We got married in Las Vegas in 2021.

I do have the copy in polish of my name change and everything else, as well as the printed copy of the original document.

I am so upset with myself, I have no idea what happened to the original document?!

Will that mean an automatic RFE?

Not necessarily an automatic RFE.  Order a certificate online on Monday, and if asked for at the interview, and an RFE is issued, you should be able to respond to it relatively quickly.

Good Luck!

To the OP, yes still take the copy to the interview even if you don’t have the certified copy.
