We got RFE due forgetting the 130a (please don't judge us🥺) So we need to return the form with the cover sheet letter, the question: which item do we need to select?

•A new G-28?

•Additional forms?

•Additional fees

•Other?

We also read that we must send it back to USCIS by mail, did you submited yours by mail as well? Thanks for your answers

Did you get another letter telling you to submit an I-130a?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Unless you have a lawyer, the petitioner is submitting additional forms.  The I-130a is an "additional form" you failed to submit as required for a spouse petition.

Get real though.  If you knew you needed to submit the form and "forgot" that's one thing. If you didn't do your homework, and didn't KNOW to submit it, that's very different.  If so, there's a lot more homework to do for the next stages of the process.

Thank you for the answer. Do I need to submit it online too? Or only by mail?

The RFE letter will specify.
