Greetings Fam,

I Need help with an airline and hotel website to book a confirmed, not paid ticket and reservation in order to apply for Schengen visa in the USA. I am applying through Netherlands for a Schengen visa. I’m a green card holder. &nbsp

Thanks in advance.

Just book flexible tickets and then you can cancel/reschedule if you need to.

What’s your country of citizenship?

And do I need to pay for this flexible ticket?

Yes of course. You can’t book a ticket without paying for it! But airlines all offer them so if you don’t get the visa you can then cancel and get a refund.

Sounds like the OP wants a dummy ticket.  Personally, I would just pay for a flex ticket as @appleblossom suggested.

Okay thanks all. This attached image and the circled part of the requirements got me confused.

Wouldn't "another document showing your travel plans" be a detailed itinerary?

What about hotel reservations?  The above doesn't mention anything about airline tickets.  Just travel reservations.  Many hotel bookings are refundable with no charge.  At the very least, I try to book my first and last days before I arrive somewhere.

I'm not sure this is in the right forum, as this is a trip to the Netherlands following Netherlands visa rules, right?

There are all sorts of ways of entering the EU as a tourist, and different entry requirements based on which country's airport you use--probably outside of the scope of this forum.
