Filed i129f back in Dec 8 2024, got our receipt Dec 12 2024. Havnt heard anything yet 😬

I just checked on one of the apps — so many December 2nd fillers got approved in the last 3 days! I personally saw a bunch of receipt numbers getting approved. Looks like they’ve finally started reviewing December cases. Hopefully, it’ll be our turn soon. Fingers crossed we all hear good news!

Is anyone here who filed a K-1 visa petition in December 2024 (around December 2nd) and has received approval? Just curious if there's a delay in processing for December 2024 K-1 cases."

K1 Visa  Case Approved!
Our K1 visa Case got approved today, August 7th! We’re so happy and grateful. Wishing everyone still waiting a fast approval — your turn is coming soon! 💕✈️

Also, how long does it usually take to receive the “case was sent to the Department of State” update after approval? The beneficiary is in India. Any insights would be appreciated!

NOA1 Date: Dec 19 2024

Congratulations! This is great to hear.

My receipt date is similar, and the other tracking website says I should receive a response soon, but my case status hasn't changed. Only a few petitions from my date have been processed, but I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll hear back within a few working days. (I fear that I may get an RFE. I think my partner and I relied too heavily on photos as evidence of meeting in person, but I've since read that other forms of evidence are preferred.)

Did you include any restaurant bills, flight tickets, visa stamps, hotel bookings, or travel itineraries along with the photos? Those usually help strengthen the evidence of meeting in person.
