Good afternoon,

I read and knew that we had to send forms I130 and I485 together but my husband sent I130 first, we already got the letter confirming it was received now my question is that is the process going to be delayed because of that ? I am sending I485 form tonigt,

are going to have issues if we sent the I130 first ? How long it is taking to complete the process in Texas

Thanks for your help and advice, I will appreciate it

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Send the I485 with a copy of the I130 receipt NOA.  Should not really be much of a delay, and no issue sending the I130 first, but not sure of the processing times for the I130 and I485 which can be done either at a service center, or at your local office.

Good Luck!

Who told you that? Adjustment of status packets require I-693 when filing. Otherwise it will get rejected.

"Effective Dec. 2, 2024, you must submit Form I-693, or a partial Form I-693 (such as the Vaccination Record), and you must submit it with your Form I-485. Otherwise, we may reject your Form I-485. "

Don't use notarios / paralegals to file immigration cases! Don't rely on advice of friends who filed cases long time ago. Things change all the time. You need to be aware of all requirements.

You were misinformed.  Why are you sending an I-864a?

The Civil Surgeon fills in the form, they determine how much they charge, she may find it cheaper to get the shots done elsewhere
