6/3 filed online. Biometric reused. 6/12 Interview is scheduled. Waiting for the actual notice to show up but wow USCIS are moving incredibly fast!

Our case is pretty cut and dry. Filed under 5-year rule. Had GC for almost 10 years (married to USC).

What is your Filed Office please ?

The photo they take there isn’t for the certificate (or at least they didn’t use mine that day). Mine is from when I looked like a baby. So not a bad thing for me now that I am a lot older

Which photo do they use then?

They used mine from AOS era.

Interesting. Did you have a biometrics appointment for N400? What about for i751?

I am consular processed LPR, and my conditional greencard had the photo I submitted at my interview. The 10 year green card has the photo taken at my biometrics from the I-751. Since my biometrics is being reused, I assumed they would use that same photo for N400.

This is just my experience. Not sure how consistent this is.

I was with my wife during the interview last Monday and her picture was taken just before she had to sign twice on the tablet. I asked the adjudicator about the picture policy and she could not give us straight answer but hinted it has to do with how old is the picture taken with biometrics but was not precise with the time.

My wife's biometrics are 7 years old, they were taken for removal of conditions.
