Last year, my wife and I traveled back to her home country and returned to the US with her passport with her maiden name, green card with her married name, and a copy of our marriage certificate and had no problems re-entering the US. I was wondering if anyone has done that this year, under the new president administration, if there's been any issues re-entering with mismatched last names on the passport and green card.

Haven’t heard any stories of anyone in this situation having issues.  Personally, I would not worry about it.
