Hi! 👋
We filed in May 2025 as well and received NOA2 on December 16.

Currently in the NVC waiting phase — they’ve said they haven’t received the case yet, so just in that in-between stretch.

Happy to follow along and compare timelines. Always helps knowing where others are at.

thats amazing! keep us updated on how your application progresses. Im a May filer but im still waiting for NOA2, so itll be encouraging seeing how your quickly your case continues to progress.

2 months seems to be the waiting time for NVC to receive the approved i129f. Its all a waiting game. Unfortunate for us lol

Hey folks! Thank you for your support during this super stressful time. I wanted to update that our NoA2 just came in yesterday :)

I'm expecting it'll take a little longer to get to the NVC than the May filers approved in December, but I'm excited nonetheless. Back in the queue we go.

Congratulations! It may not be so long of a wait. Looks like processing times have sped up tremendously. All the best to you.

Thank you for the kind words. It does feel like a major windfall after this approval, so hopefully that manifests for all of us in reality.

goodluck! did you get your RFE in the mail yet? Do you know what they are asking you to provide?

Thank you for your kind wishes! Sorry for not responding to this sooner! I'm not very good at the quote system :(

My request was for "Intent to Marry," and were looking for things like:

  • correspondence on wedding and/or future plans
  • evidence of subsequent visits
  • evidence of family/friends awareness of the couple

We were able to supply these things pretty easily, especially since we visited each other 5 times last year and had many folks to vouch for us, including family whom we had many photos with.
