Ok guys....what now? What are the next steps?? I'm so anxious I need to do something and if there is any documents I need to get together I'll take this time to do it now....we got our noa2 what do we do now?

start getting i134 together and the necessary documents to go with it i think would be a safe start from the petitioners side. beneficiary can start getting the documents they need. police cert, birth cert and such to start. Things that will definitely be needed.

YUP!

All make sure all the medical stuff is taken care of too, all shots taken etc.

I have all my documents together...I'm just waiting for the bank to get the letter from them...he can get his police certification and medical exam now??

Medical is only good for 6(?) months and I believe they have to have done ds160 first to schedule. They can however make sure they have all their shots done and a record of them. Take a breathe there is plenty of time.

 I agree with you. The individual you are referencing seems not to have submitted a letter of intent. Furthermore, as we both know, in many cases, no engagement ceremony should take place, as such an event could be construed as a marriage ceremony.

The individual that is being referenced is me, and yes we both submitted letters of intent. So instead of making assumptions, which seems to be the norm in this forum, maybe do a bit of probing so your comments or suggestions can help or edify. As I stated previously the RFE specifically asked for proof of an engagement ceremony as it is customary in Ethiopia. And do you mean misconstrued as a marriage ceremony? But regardless, I’ll provide what is asked. Even though the Consular makes the final decision, USCIS is the gatekeeper.

This can be a danger in some cultures, including in Africa.  Please take great care, however you proceed.  A common and heartbreaking verdict is "too married for a I-129F / K-1."  Pulling for you in every regard.
