Did the medical today, not only did my wife not get the Polio vaccine at the overseas medical for the K1 like she was supposed to, she also didn't get the right tetanus shot there (needed t-d-p but only got t-d) SMH...

Really dumb that this wasn't taken care of at the overseas but we didn't know at the time. But whatever, we're getting the sealed I-693 in a few days and now we won't have to worry about a medical RFE at the interview at least. Fee ended up being $270 plus vaccines (we did them at the exam) were $130 at the clinic we went to.

Good deal! We're still trying to find a civil surgeon here in Denver that will do just the vaccine assessment for us. We got Jaycel the Polio vaccine this past Sunday at CVS. The one's I've contacted so far have been saying that she has to do the full medical. It's so frustrating.

Yeah I looked around on Reddit for civil surgeon recommendations around Chicago and one of them was near us so we picked it, def a reasonable price considering they don't accept insurance. We didn't bother asking around for partial examinations cuz they probably all follow standard procedures and don't wanna mess around with not doing the full thing (even though they can) and probably just want the full fee lol.

This happens to everyone's "My Progress" timeline after biometrics... it does not mean your interview is waived. The new policy at USCIS under the Trump Administration is that almost no one gets an interview waiver so it's best to prepare yourself to have to attend one. Best of luck and we hope afor a speedy process for you!

Thank you, E & J. Will they take 46 months to make a decision, or is this a placeholder? I hardly see any Indiana filers, and not sure how long the current process is.

That estimated time to case decision is wildly inaccurate and fluctuates often so you can safely ignore it. You can check the case processing times at your local field office here:

Seems I messed up and used an old edition of I-485 .. whomp whomp. All others forms were good but rejected due to the mishap.

Filled the latest edition out and mailed out all the forms again on May 29th. (I-485, I-765, I-864, I-131)

June 17th I got a notice from my bank for USCIS charges (a total of $2,070)
So looks like the I-485 and I-131 got processed, however, I am not seeing a charge for the I-765 ($260) yet.

Anyone else had this? Just curious if this means it got rejected.. Would be strange since they didn't reject the form around the first time - they only said my I-485 was incorrect (due to wrong form edition)
I used a credit card (I-485 = $1,440 / I-765 = $260 / I-131 = $630) - - - I used one G-1450 form and allowed authorization to the total amount of $2,330.

I also get notices/push/text notifications on my cell if a charge is declined - I don't have that so leads me to believe they rejected the form lol ... ?? >.>

I paid with separate money orders ($1440 for I-485 and $260 for I-765) and it processed the cases successfully, I think that USCIS expects three separate G-1450 forms for each application instead of one. Someone else might know for sure though. If the I-765 doesn't get processed but the others do you can file it online later at least. I guess you'll find out what happens soon.

Also I got two duplicate interview notices in the mail.. Not sure what's up with that. One envelope said it was from the National Benefits Center and I don't remember if the other one was as well.. The receipt, dates and content are the same and there wasn't anything new on the USCIS website.

Got my receipt notices yesterday. For the I-485 and I-131 but not for I-765.

That's good to know I can file it online though! Thanks!! On the lookout for the notices in the mail now and access codes 🙂

Nice.

We got the I-693 sealed envelope today, everything looked good. We did get a copy as well, not sure if I should upload the copy as evidence on the USCIS site.
