How do I change "Intended Address" on the i129f form?

Hello everybody,

 

I just tried to contact USCIS, and got contradictory information from three separate agents about this topic (I wasn't sure the first understood what I was saying, the second said something different and so I talked to a third who said something else different), so I'm going to try to ask here. Currently, we are awaiting our NOA2, and I just changed my physical address online as is required; however, I'd like to change my fiancee's INTENDED address on i-129f (Part 2, Line Items 45a-45e) so that it matches my current physical address. The first agent told me to send in form AR11, the second agent told me to write a letter to the service center (but didn't give any more information than that and ended the call) and the third agent told me it can't be changed until my fiancee enters the country. The second resolution seems like it makes the most sense to me, but does anyone have experience with this or know what I should do? If I should write a letter, should I write an "attention" notice on it or address it to anyone in particular?

this could be something that can be updated at the time of your fiances interview.

 

as far as writing a letter, that agent was more than likely referring to the service center that received your packet, which i believe for all I-129fs now is the california service center. it would have your case number, your name, fiances name. and probably attn: I-129f. something along those lines

 

But i think easiest thing would be for your fiance to update the information at their interview.

This is what you will do.... My address changed between the time I filed the I-129F and when we got approved. Jaycel just told the Consular Officer at her interview and he said, "No problem, just give CBP the right address if they ask at the Port of Entry." CBP did ask when she arrived and she gave them the new address. No issues at all. Don't waste your time trying to update it with USCIS.

They call USCIS tier 1 the "misinformation line" for a reason.
