My fiancé is originally from the Philippines, but was working and living in Thailand. She just got back to the Philippines to wait for our paperwork to process. Her mailing address is listed as the one in Thailand on the I-129F but I need to change it to the Philippines. I contacted an agent at USCIS and was told that I could send in a letter requesting a change of address to the office that is handling our case (California Office). However, I have had people tell me several different things. Should I send in the letter to USCIS California Office requesting a change in mailing address? Should I wait until I receive the NOA2 and contact the NVC? Or Should we wait until my fiancé fills out her DS 160 and update it then. For reference, I have the embassy in Manila, Philippine listed on the I-129F expecting her to move back to the Ph. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that has had their fiancé move while the I-129F is being processed. Thank you for any help/ advice provided.

If more info is needed, please let me know.

No need to do anything about it.  USCIS is not going to mail anything to your Fiance.  Just wait and correct it on the DS-160.

What @Crazy Cat said above is correct but if you want, once your petition is approved and USCIS indicates they have sent it to the Department of State, you can use their public inquiry form to request your case number and in that request, update your fiancée’s mailing address. In that same request, I would also ask them to be sure they have your correct email addresses and give them yours and your fiancée’s email addresses. They often get transposed incorrectly when the NVC enters the info from the I-129F into their systems. These are more important at this point since all of the communication from the NVC and embassy will come via email. Good luck and wish you both a speedy approval! :)

I (beneficiary) got a physical letter from the Tokyo embassy once they got the case from NVC, it had the instructions for getting the health exam and filling out the DS-160. That was 8 years ago though, I'm sure things have changed and it's all electronic by now?

Thanks.  For us, it was all email....in 2017.  I assume they are doing it all that way now.

I would change it with USCIS as if it goes to NVC , they will assign new number for thailand (BNKxxxxxxxxx) instead of MNLxxxxxxx

that is all done prior to ds 160 filled out

They have the Manila embassy selected on the I-129F as where she will be applying for the visa
