Lease contract for K-1/AoS purposes (Co-signer or Occupant?)

Hi all, this weekend I will be signing a lease for a new apartment that my fiancee and I will move into a week after she arrives in the US. Since she is not physically present to sign, the landlord has offered let me sign and list her as a second tenant on the lease.

Would this affect our Adjustment of Status process at all if she is only listed as an occupant rather than a cosigner on the lease?

it shows that you live together, thats what USCIS wants to see

 

is she able to sign the lease after she arrives?

thats what we did with my husband (then fiance)

have fiancee send you a POA to sign on her behalf /that covers any issues

Pretty sure this was our arrangement with our landlord too for the first year I was here in the US. Didn’t affect anything - AoS approved with no issues.
