I had my interview today and see an update on USCIS portal (oath ceremony notice was mailed).

Does anyone know in how many days approximately will (i) I see the notice on the USCIS portal, and (2) I receive the notification in the mail?

Give a day or two for notice to show online. Give 1-4 weeks for physical letter to arrive.

My wife just had her interview scheduled for October 17th. Portland, OR field office. 5 year rule. Just updating for anyone still waiting for interview. It felt like a very long wait but relieved it has finally come. It has been hard to watch so many applicants who filed much later already naturalized but at the same time extremely happy for them and their speedy process

You don’t. Your attorney will ask you to sign g-28 so they can represent you at the interview. Good luck

I spoke to a local attorney sometime ago and they said they will ask me to sign the G-28 and upload it to the portal. I am worried that uploading anything new to the portal so close to my interview date will trigger USCIS to reschedule my interview and it is not something I'd like.

@ebhopeful, I am seconding @OldUser.

Uploading the document to the online portal won’t delay anything. In fact Attorney Jim Hacking recommends uploading any additional evidence to the online portal 10 days before the interview.

In addition to uploading to the portal, the original document should be brought to the interview, incase the officer wants it.

Thanks for the info, I am from same area, wondering did your wife submit at 5 full year or she used some 90 days benefit?

I am still waiting, 5 years, submit as single, used 90 days ahead when submit, not sure if that will delay the time, but I start to feel the wait is so long and have no idea how far ahead

She applied a few months after she had passed the 5 year mark

Anything under 12 months is fast in USCIS world.

It's only been 5 months since you filed. Maybe you have somewhat elevated expectations?
