I wish I only needed that to set up one haha The provider my wife has for her bank accounts requires either a State Driving License or a State ID and a Member Application form to set up an account

Had my State ID arrive in the post last week while I was on holiday in Wyoming. Going to the bank that my wife uses today to finally open a bank account.

Got my driving test later this month so hopefully if I pass that then I can get my State Driving License as well.

I had my AOS interview yesterday. We got there about 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and went in 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment time so I could check in and go through security and sit in the waiting area until our number was called out by the ISO interviewing us. When our number was called out we then followed the ISO to one of the interview rooms.

The interview was about 10-15 minutes and the ISO was polite and friendly. They took my photo and my fingerprints and then asked us some relationship questions (some of them listed below) and then some Yes/No questions.

How did you meet?

When did you first meet in person?

When did you move here?

When did you get married?

At the end she informally said I would be approved and gave me a piece of paper that said my case was in review but she said they give that to everyone as I believe the cases have to be approved and signed off by a supervisor. Then she said any changes to the case would show about 24 hours after it gets approved.

This morning I got the notification on my USCIS online account confirming that the case was approved! :) So happy! I hope that everyone receives positive news soon regarding their cases soon!

Hello,

I haven't been on here for a bit but now I got my interview scheduled and a few questions popped up. We filed in February, Biometrics was April 4th.

I did not hear anything about my EAD application yet. Is that odd? From what I see, the EAD gets approved pretty quickly and then the interview scheduling takes at least a little longer.

For the interview, do we bring everything we submitted throughout the whole K1 process? Or just additional evidence? Or just evidence since our AOS filing?

In the schedule notice it says "The originals and copies of each supporting document that you submitted with your application. Otherwise, we may keep your originals for our records."

Thank you for any responses. I hope it is going well for all of you.

There's no downside to bringing absolutely everything you have, if you can.

My wait for the EAD is 4 months and still counting. Sometimes the aos interview comes faster than ead

bring everything you have.

Reading is what? Fun-da-men-tal!

thanks guys. Would that include the submitted forms as well? Or just any additional evidence that has been submitted since we started the K1 journey, such as photos, affidavits, bills, travel receipts, etc?

Everything means everything. Every single little thing. They might not ask for it, but if they ask for something you didn’t bring with you it can cause significant delays.  Uscis messes up regularly.
