Hi guys,

my in laws filed i130/i485 and it was received March 21st. On March 27th the checks were cashed but they still didn’t get a notification about a receipt number. So they went to USCIS website and spoke to an agent through Emma and verified a few information before they were provided their receipt number.

hope this helps

I’ll try this tomorrow, but I’m guessing we’ll be sent to the same email since the money hasn’t been taken. Thanks for the tip!

Guess who got their denial in today??? They tried to take out the money in the 3 days we didn't have it because we thought USCIS took it but the bank did. SO DENIED!! (:(:(:(:(:(:((:(:(:(:(:(::(

Yes I have lost my mind at this point. SO BESTIES. What did y'all use for payment, money orders? My husband says he thinks 1k is max for those, so I'm unsure if we can use that.

Also, we have the entire package back, BUT since filing a new version of the I-485 got released. Should I just redo the entire thing for safety? Or is the green thing protecting me?

You have to redo the form is there is new form available.

Personal check is the best, but of course you need to make sure you have money in account.

Alright guess I know what I'm doing tonight.. Yeah, we kept our balance above 2500 the entire time, but then the bank decided to accidentally grab something regarding to a car payment and then say 'oh oopsie, we'll pay it back in like 2 weeks'. We've had the 2500+ in there for MONTHS and obviously those 3 days we missed it, they try it :DDD

Sorry for the double post. Should I redo the 864 and 765 too? Since they don't have a new version
