From what I've seen, the tracking numbers almost never show in the case status until well after it's delivered and yes it will come in the same Red & White Priority mail envelope. Keep an eye on your informed delivery

I forgot how my EAD came in lol. But my residency card is in a USPS priority mail hard envelope. And @Edward and Jaycel is right, tracking never reflected on the USCIS app. USPS just notified me separately aside from the other letters and packages.

Date approved on card is a day before the system approval...

It came in the same USPS priority mail mailer as the EAD. We received it on July 3rd and our myUSCIS account still shows tracking not available lol. However I had signed up for USPS Informed Delivery so I could track it through there.

Yes, USPS Informed Delivery is way more superior than tracking provided by USCIS.

Congrats!

@Berlinito we were verbal approved on the day of her interview. But the approval in myuscis wasn’t till 2 days after her interview.
apologies for the late response we are currently on vacation right now. 🥰

also of note: after looking at your reddit post my wife came on a K1 visa so we didn’t need to file a I-130 and the honolulu office is usually relatively quick on processing too so that may be why your approval hasn’t happened yet.
