I saw on Reddit and on the USCIS website that it doesn't say anything about the "grace period". I literally had a gut feeling I should just send it on Monday, not Saturday. Seems like my intuition was right

I think you will be okay due to the postmark, but with USCIS, lord knows... Atleast the Illinois lockbox is fast with replies

If they do reject, will we lose the money from the money orders? Or will such rejection mean anything? For example, I won't be able to refile or I will get deported for that?

Nope, they just send your forms back. When is your i-94 expiring?

16th of March. So there is some little time left.

Okay so I sent off mine 28/01 when mine was til 30/01. I got rejected due to a common mistake, selecting spouse of us citizen instead of K1. I didn't get my folder back until 25/2. So technically, I was out of status, still am but yeah... What we did is for question .. 13 and 76? I ticked yes for being here too long and explained why on the last page. And that should work. Overstaying usually gets waived due to us being married to a USC. But with the current admin, who knows..  Just file ASAP if you do get rejected.
