Just was looking for some options and I know Ill get some here. :help: I just found out from my SO today that I put the wrong Date of birth of her 15 yr old son. I Put 1972 instead of 1992 which will make him 35 and not 15. :crying: This isn’t so bad except it makes him 1 yr older than his mother. There are no supporting documents that are required for a child on the I-129F so i am not sure how this will affect the process. They will need this information for her son at their interview I know. Wonder if they will let that go till then or what maybe a RFE saying why is there a 35 yr old in the child column? Oh well what’s done is done. I have her sending me a copy of his birth cert and translation doc’s now just in case we get a RFE. I just hope that is not way its taking so long now. :(

Considering it appears that VSC is adjudicating early to late April filers, I think it is safe to say that it has not had any affect on your petition to date.

If nothing else, you'll want to contact NVC when your case gets there and/or the Consulate to let them know the correct birth date. They may just wait for the visa application for the listed child to even check the dates but I wouldn't count on it.

If I may add..... If the adjudicator comes across something they need to verify, they are required to use all means available to obtain that information prior to issuing a RFE or approval. You may be behind a bit due to that process. Have you checked the USCIS website to see if they did indeed send an RFE that maybe you didn't recieve hardcopy on???
