We are married!! Craig finally arrived here on July 21st and we tied the not on Aug 7th! I couldn't be happier, I can't believe he's finally here and now he's all mine :)

What a crazy long wait! No we didn't get in before the July deadline, so now we're faced with a hell of an expensive AOS fee...but we'll deal with it. All that matters to me is he's here!

We followed the VJ advice to a tee, and just yesterday went to get his SS# it was a piece of cake, in and out in a matter of minutes, he was told his SS# will reach him in about 2 weeks, we called a Civil Surgeon in the area but they can't see him till Aug 20th, so we're taking this time to get every bit of paperwork together we can, and on Aug 21st (exactly one month to the day he arrived) our AOS packet will leave us and head for the Chicago Lockbox, I assume...

Anyway so yeah...we did it, we're married and things are going smoothly for us! I hope it keeps up....

Feb. 13, 2007 NOA1 Sent advising check was rec'd.

Mar. 1, 2007 Email stating NOA2 was hard copy sent to me.

Mar. 7, 2007 Hard Copy NOA2 arrived safely to me!

Mar. 8, 2007 *Touched* by London Consulate

Mar. 19, 2007 Craig Rec'd Packet 3

April 13 - April 22nd joining my guy in the UK for a much needed week of R&R!

April 27, 2007 Medical was successful.

May 16, 2007 Police Certificates finally arrive safely.

May 17, 2007 Checklist mailed to Consolute in London!!

May 30, 2007 Packet 4 Rec'd.

June 21, 2007 INTERVIEW DATE

June 23, 2007 VISA IN HAND!

July 21, 2007 Arrived in USA! Together at last.

Aug. 7, 2007 MARRIED!!

Aug. 21, 2007 Mailed off AOS & EAD Application (along with a whopping 1010.00!!)

Aug. 22, 2007 Application is signed for at the Chicago Lockbox.

You may not need to see a Civil Surgeon, your medical is under a year old.

That's what I keep trying to tell people....wait to see if you even need all that. We didn't.

November 4, 2016 Received text case sent to Nebraska

November 10, 2016 Received Hard copy of NOA1

Aren't ya'll worried about RFE's....I mean if they say you need it, shouldn't you have it?
