My wife is concerned that we seem to require a Covid vaccine within the past year.  She has already had four shots and some reactions to them.  Is this true that she needs yet another one, when we in the USA don't?

Hopefully Thailand is no longer requiring any COVID shots so it should be marked as not routinely available.

 

  • If the applicant has not had a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the past 12 months, but a law or regulation in the country where the exam is performed prevents the applicant from receiving a dose at the time of the exam, document the “Not routinely available” blanket waiver.

Good. I'd get the paperwork of adverse reactions to prior vaccines and ask for medical exemption. Then she'll want to remind the physician of its unavailability and if he/she pushes, you should be ready to file I-601 waiver.
