Hi, I met him in a Facebook chat in January of 2021 we, have chatted twice a day since then. He tried to get a student visa and a tourist visa but was denied. We met up in Europe last fall for 10 days. Now we are applying for a Fiancé (I 129F). I have filled out the paperwork to the best of my ability.  Is there anything I should know?  There is a large age gap between us. Will they think it's fake (he is 27 I'm 59) Will this be exposed to the public?  He, is a public figure known throughout his country. I read the directions very carefully, but I thought someone might have an inside option.  Any advice would be great.

Thank you!

His attempts to get a student and visitor visa, will tend to counter your evidence of bona fide relationship.  There is a very good chance that at least the fact he is seeking a fiancé visa, will become known by some of his associates, during the security check stage after the visa interview.  Very possible YOUR name will be mentioned during the security check stage also.

I think the question of will it be “exposed to the public” is the least of your worries.

Since the beneficiary’s country is Pakistan, with one short visit and a huge age difference, you can expect issues.

We have seen hetero relationships (specifically much older female American with young Pakistani man) go through years of administrative processing due to suspicion of fraud.

I would consider doing a Utah zoom wedding and/or spending much more time together in person before filing- otherwise you risk a NOIR.
