File I-485, I-693, I-864

Hello,

I am petitioner for my sister, and she is about to file I-485.

I read in the instructions that I need to fill out an I-864 for her?!?

 

- If Yes, for I-864  I have to use the income of a household member- my husband to financially sponsor my sister. Does he have to fill out an I-864 as well?

- Can be filed I-485, I-693, and I-864 together?

Yes.  I assume her priority date is current?  From what status will she adjust?  It is rare that we see a sibling filing for Adjustment of Status.  I don't recall seeing one in years.

She has Annual Income about  $17,000., and Household assets more than $136,000( filled in I-485) .

Can be used instead my husbands income??

I'm not sure it be used on your I-864. From what status is she adjusting?

Ok , but  on Page 5 from I-864 Part 7 Point 6,7,8 they give us a space for Assets of the principal sponsored immigrant.

What about that?

Generally, yes. Plus other forms such as I-131, I-765.
