Medical result to transfer

I am waiting for the medical facility to transfer my medical results to the Embassy. My medical was done on January 3, 2024 and the interview was 10th January 2024. This is in Jamaica. Does anyone know how long will it takes for the transfer to happen?

Contact your panel physician and ask.

They should have told you at the exam or you would have been able to ask then.

I would call the hospital to get information about the medical since it’s been some time and the status still haven’t updated in the system ?

I actually went to the medical facility and was told that the medical report is at the embassy. The thing is I don't know if they were been honest , however I checked on the visa status early this morning and notice that case last updated shows 31 jan 2024. I don't know if this is an indication of receiving the medical.

Hi, could you please post your timeline of the filing process? My fiancé is about to file next week. I'm from Jamaica so id like to have a rough estimate of how long everything will take

Welcome letter received Nov 7,2023

US Embassy sent packet Dec 13,2023

Medical Jan 3 2024

Interview at embassy January 10 2023

 I had to reach out the the Embassy for them to send over the instructions and for the appointment date.

I believe the timeline is about 8 months now compared to the 2022 filers based upon the approvals I’ve been seeing. 

NOA 1  December 13,2022

RFE November 10,2023 

Approval December 26, 2023 

NVC Sent to Embassy january 16, 2024

Checked status every day until it was  Ready January 19, 2024

It only takes 10 days to transfer medical. They are electronic records now.

yes, it's now at the embassy.

I did not schedule my interview at the embassy, I only schedule the medical appointment. I receive an email from the embassy with my appointment date.
