10/16/07 VISA!!

12/15/06 NOA2

1/09/07 Packet 3 received from Cairo Embassy

2/12/07 Packet 3 returned to Cairo Embassy

5/6/07 Interview..........It's about time!!

Good Monday, everyone!

I have a question for anyone whose SO came from Egypt (or another MENA country).......Will a cell phone purchased here still work in the US?

I have been told that the operating system (?) is different and that it won't be the same type of technology........I wanna know if we can put a US SIM card in the phone he has now.

We are wondering if we should sell his phone before we leave or maybe give it to his brother.

Advice????

It depends on if the phone is a tri or quad ban model than it would operate. You would also have to go with a comany that uses sims cards- not all do. Yo would also have to make sure the phone is unlocked (which is probably already is)

mornin.

first day back to work. Kids are at a new camp this week. The oldest is learning how to garden and cook healthy food and the youngest is writing a play. Should be fun! :thumbs:

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

Kind of dark and dreary here in SW Michigan today, but very high humidity level. I hate it when you have to drink your oxygen. Good news, my mom may get to go home today. After two rounds of dialysis she has much improved health wise and has lost 20 pounds of excess fluid from the CHF. After two weeks in the hospital she is looking forward to going home.

On the dark side, I look around my house and have come to the conclusion that it would be easier to condemn it than to clean it. LOL Why oh why are boys so messy? Oh, well, guess I'll get to work shoveling a path to my kitchen to do some dishes and then tackle the laundry.

Its really cold here today and our green card interview is next Monday and I havent started preparing for it yet. :crying:

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.
