1. How many tax returns does your joint sponsor have to show that is actually required?

2. When do you have to schedule VAC? We’re still doing the affidavit of support and have to pay the fee. I’m guessing you do the VAC right after you submit

1.  Information from their last three tax returns but copy or return transcript for only the most recent year.

3.  VAC?????

Vaccinations are with the medical exam, AFTER the interview is scheduled and just before the interview date?

So you're asking about the interview? If so, that's normally scheduled for you, you have to wait until you're Documentary Qualified and then will be added to the queue for an interview.

Is the sponsor a citizen or LPR?

I'm confused. Who's 'he'? This is for a spousal visa yes? So is the petitioner (the person in the US applying to bring their spouse over) a US citizen or a LPR?

I’m the petitioner and we need a joint sponsor. Yes I’m a us citizen born and raised, the JOINT sponsor only been here for 2 1/2 years. He has his green card

Ah, ok, that makes sense now. Thanks.

For the process after you've paid the fees etc, you need to follow the step by step guide - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html

So the interview will be scheduled for you, usually about 6 months after you're DQ'ed I believe for DR.

Good luck.

The sponsor explains includes a note indicating he has only been in the USA since (date) and was not required to file more tax returns.  Enter zero income for the missing year.

My best friend says she wants to help sponsor the beneficiary but she doesn’t know if it will stop her from sponsoring her boyfriend in the future. Can joint sponsors sponsor more than one person? She’s an American citizen like I am

She can sponsor as many as she can afford . No limit providing she is income qualified . See link

BUT ..most people are scared of the proverbial “hook” liability in case your beloved turns out to be a litigious dud

Just a question of having enough income

Download the I-864p.  She can then check to see if her income is enough.

Household size of 2 = her and the beneficiary?

Yes, plus any children she may have.  When she's ready to sponsor another, her income will need to easily cover a household of 3, if there are no children.
