Not having a fun day at all

Sorry you're not having a good day, but hopefully the RFE will be something easy that you can send to them as soon as you get the notice. At least you know they're working on your case and it'll resume as soon as you send back what they need. Most people get their approvals quickly after and RFE is taken care of. I know how said you must be since she just left as well, but at least you got to spend some time together...I'm envious

You have gone much longer then I have. I left her from a short visit on September 11th. I just wish she was with me now.

And Mr/Mrs Cleo you actually told me it was on the way at about 5:30 on the day I was approved. So within two hours of the USCIS website updating my approval. Very impressive.

Thank you Tim....Now that I've gotten you and Ramzis fixed up, I now have to start concentrating on ours.......

well thanks for your well wishes hoping it can be turned around quickly too. Let you know what it is as soon as we know what makes it hard is that we got a laywer too. Plus my babe don't know yet. Going to have to try leave her an email as she'll be going straight to her parents and out to eat with the family.

I know I'm not in your situation and I know the waiting is hard... but right now, when we filed the idea was people would be approved in 90 days - I am sure it was meant to be like that for a lot of people...

Unfortunately it's not...

An RFE is a bit of a bummer I must say... it does delay the process a bit - but your file *is* being processed. That means providing the evidence that is requested isn't something insanely difficult to arrange, onece you get it sent back you can expect your next contact to be an approval

But it´s not always so easy...Byron sent his reply like 2 weeks ago and still hasn´t heard from them...and when he calls they are just mostly rude to him and tell him nothing Better keep praying for a speedy approval than an RFE

Unfortunately when this part of the journey is over and we finally get to be with our SOs we can´t even spend some "quality time away". I mean we aren´t even allowed to pick vacation or honeymoon wherever we like it to be. Better keep it local kids

I keep saying 'when I get my parole', and you can HEAR him wince; he's always so apologetic about what he terms 'my stupid government'

Yeah we have been to quite a lot of places too (not including Australia yet ) We love exploring (although it´s already been explored )

we haven't been to Aus together yet - well, even I have only been there once, in the last three years - but we plan to... he'll finally get to meet my parents then too

time frame goes: NOA2 -> interview -> leave the UK, after shipping stuff to US -> I arrive in Aus -> two weeks later he arrives in Aus -> two weeks later we fly on to the US

we'll see how much of that occurs; as the saying goes: people make their plans, but God has the last word
