Hello everyone, I have been researching for several days and I cannot find the correct information, I hope you can help me. I have been in adjustment of status since June 2022, my case was submitted, my wife being a permanent resident (f2a) at that time it was possible because the category was current, but just a week after my i-130 was approved, the visas went backwards, and they did not approve my i-485. Anyway, my wife decided to become a citizen and is now naturalized. I have been investigating how to update the category, but on the internet and videos I only see that they notify the NVC of the change regarding the i-130, but they do not talk anywhere about what is done with the i-485 in case of adjustment of status, such as Should it be notified, where would it be sent, and in the case of the I-130, should it be reported to the NVC or somewhere else? Someone told me that I also had to send a letter to the local USCIS office, I don't know how true this is, I hope you can help me please.

What is the status of your current I485 application?  Did you received a final action notice on it?  If it is still pending, I would trying calling the USCIS contact center at 1 800 375 5283, and get to a Tier 2.

Good Luck!
