Hello all

I really need help, my dad requested to expedite my IV case because I been waiting for a year since I got DQ (IR2)

and he received a mail today asking him to provide medical records or letters from a doctor, in this case how can he go about to do it, what idea can he put in place to make it a success.(The truth is I’m not sick but my dad has pressure)

Are you saying your Dad said you were ill as the reason for requesting an expedite but you're not? Obviously they're going to require proof of that, you're asking to jump the queue ahead of everybody else that's already waiting for an interview. If you can't provide proof then you need to be honest and cancel the expedite request.

Which consulate?

He didn’t mention anything like someone being sick, he just requested for na expedite but they replied asking for medical records

Are you sure? Odd that they're asking for something so specific then. So what reason did he give for an expedite?

He said he only requested expedite but didn’t mention anything about such, so I’m confused

Bottom line is that from what you've said you don't have a valid reason for an expedite. So he needs to tell them that and either cancel the request or just wait for them to refuse it.

Lying to DOS/USCIS is not smart.

You can’t expedite because you believe you’ve been “waiting too long.”

He’s not playing smart I’m not sick but he is. He has been down with pressure (he’s sick)

Then he needs to submit medical documents to demonstrate his hardship because of the delay. I doubt it will be granted

What do you mean by 'with pressure'? Not sure what that is?

He asked for an expedite on the basis of his medical issues and that you being interviewed earlier as opposed to waiting your turn would help.

They need medical evidence to support that request.
