I applied for ROC for my GC more than 30 months ago and my case is still pending at YSC. However, I should be receiving my permanent GC any day now. Both spouses filed for divorce this July. Currently, do I have to notify USCIS of my pending divorce? From what I understand I can only do divorce waiver after we have divorce decree and its not going to happen anytime soon. I am also eligible to apply for N400 this December after having my GC for 5 years, not marriage based N400. Any recent cases with feedback would be much appreciated and it is such a gray area.

Sounds like you want to naturalise so the last thing you want is to acquire a 10 year GC on the wrong basis.
