Almost one week later, we still don't have the passport with visa in hand.

My wife called Aramex today to inquire. Aramex stated they will receive it from the Consulate this Thursday.

8 days (calendar days) after visa was issued, and we still don't have the passport back from the Consulate. It has been only 5 business days, so not panicking yet 🙂

Aramex received the passport today from the consulate and it was scanned into their system.

I found out by calling them directly.

Of course none of the tracking tools (email or on the ustraveldocs website work).

So, five business days after visa was issued, the passport reached the courier service for pickup.

Passport with visa picked up Monday 16-October (available for pickup as of 13-October).

it took 10 calendar days for passport to be ready for pickup after visa was issued.

no envelope with documents with passport. All docs are sent online. Only DV lottery visa have that envelope with their visa.

POE at JFK airport, NY about two hrs ago. Everything went perfect.
Change of Address was handled by immigration officers at the immigration office, not even 10 minutes wait time.

This update marks the end of the I-130 / CR1 turned IR1 journey.

Thank you VJ for all the support and advice.

SSN card received in the mail one week after POE.

The process is working. Now only waiting for the Green Card: status still shows "Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received".
